The COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose significant challenges and is likely to remain a concern for the next several weeks. As the President declared a disaster declaration today (Mar 13), we encourage you to be prepared but not panic, in our response to continuing essential governmental functions. With that said, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service has requested that county offices cancel all upcoming programs through Friday (Mar 20), this will include our Tuesday (Mar 17) Camp County Cattlemen’s Association meeting. Please help me get the word out by notifying our members who may not utilize e-mail or social media. I will post a note on the door for the night of the meeting for those who might show up. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may pose. However, your health and your loved ones’ health who are at a higher risk are of utmost importance.
The A&M System will re-evaluate the pandemic and risks and will make decisions for any programming scheduled after Friday (Mar 20).
If you were planning to attend our Landowners Educational Series, Pond Health program scheduled for Mar 21, please stay tuned, we will make the final decision on that program on Monday (Mar 16).
