The Cookville Volunteer Fire Department rescheduled their 30th Annual Fundraiser to start at noon Saturday, July 11. With the safety of Cookville neighbors in mind, there is the observation of social distancing and other health safety practices. Elderly and infirm neighbors who are at risk of attending are encouraged to phone the fire station at (903) 572-1391, and members will attempt to deliver all meals requested.
The fire department members will serve free wood-smoked beef brisket and pork butt, beans, potato salad, bread, and desserts.
There will be a live and silent auction all day, a bounce house, and other entertainment for the kids. The Carter Blood Care bus will be on-site for interested donors.
Everyone is welcome at no cost. However, we appreciate your donations.
