The Hopkins County Republican “Presidents Day Candidate Forum” is on Monday (Feb 17) at the Hopkins County Civic Center located at 1200 Houston St in Sulphur Springs. Doors will open at 5:45 pm, and the Dinner/Auction starts at 6:15 pm.
The Hopkins County Republican Party is excited to announce this year’s dinner will be prepared and served by the North Hopkins High School Culinary Arts Class.
Our keynote speaker will be “Pastor Rafael Cruz,” father of Texas Senator Ted Cruz. The program will also feature a question & answer portion between contested races. Two local candidates for the position of Constable Precinct 2 are Charles Humphries and John “Brian,” Beatle. For the Texas House Race District 2 will be Bryan Slayton, Doc Collins, and Rep.
