The PJC Department of Drama’s second production is 1776 of their 2021-2022 “Raise Your Voice!” season and our first musical production since 2019!
Actors send the defining event in American history to vivid life in this most unconventional of Broadway hits. The production 1776 puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the men behind the national icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, irritable, charming, often petty, and ultimately noble figures, determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation.
Shows will be Thursday through Saturday (Dec 2-4) at 7:30 pm and Sunday (Dec 5) at 2:30 pm.
The Duane Allen Stage in the Ray E. Karrer Theatre at Paris Junior College on the Paris Campus is the location.
The general admission is $15, $10 for senior adults and students, $5 with a donation of a new toy for local charities, and Free with a PJC faculty, staff, or student ID. Tickets are available by cash or check only at the door
