A&M-Texarkana and Master Gardeners to Present Program on Succulents

TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present a program titled “How to Care for Succulents and Not Kill Them” on Monday (Sep 9). The program will take place in University Center Room 326 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Reservations are not required, and the event is free and open to the public.

Succulent plants are plants that store water in their leaves, stems, or both. There are many different types, species, and cultivars of succulents, and they come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and offer unique features. The discussion is led by Texas Master Gardener Caleb Corbin. He will focus on ways to keep succulents healthy. It will include information on watering, location, and different soil types that can help your plants thrive for years to come.
