Smoky Eyed Backyard BBQ – Canceled

The event is Saturday (Apr 18) at the Mt Pleasant Civic Center Pavilion from 3:00 pm-9:00 pm. Cook team: $75 team entry fee plus 20lbs of brisket and 10lbs of cook’s choice required. Awards are a $500 cash prize for first place, $250 cash prize for runner up in judge’s vote, a trophy for people’s choice. Aaron Taylor, Hudson Northcutt and Hayden McBride will take the Diamond C Trailer stage with live music throughout the afternoon. Sponsors so far are the City of Mt. Pleasant, Diamond C Trailers, and Guaranty Bank & Trust.
