During an awards ceremony this week, the top Accelerated Readers at Everett Elementary were announced. Roselyn Spencer was the top reader in third grade while Montgomery Clark received the honor for second grade.
Throughout the year, chances to win bicycles were earned with every 10 AR points. This week a boy’s and girl’s name was drawn for each grade. Winners of the second grade bike drawing was Jon Landers and Summer Rose. Those winning in third grade were Natalie Washington and Tristan Griffin. Presenting the AR awards and bicycles were Everett librarian Lynnette Johnson and principal Carey Malone.
