Execution Delayed By Supreme Court

The U.S. Supreme Court has delayed the execution of a Texas Death Row inmate. John Henry Ramirez was due to receive his lethal injection in Huntsville last night. But the high court granted a stay of execution to sort out Ramirez’s claim that the state was violating his religious rights by preventing his pastor from laying hands on him inside the death chamber. Ramirez murdered a convenience store clerk during a robbery in 2004.
