Fannin County Family Loses Everything In Fire

A Fannin County family has lost everything but the clothes on their backs in a house fire. Dewayne and Kandi  Hessel and their child Courtney, of Ector, had already gone to work when they got the call about 8:00 am that their home had gone up in flames, and their son, 17-year-old Colby was inside. When the family arrived back home, they found that firefighters had rescued Colby and the family pets from the house. The Ector Volunteer Fire Department is investigating the cause of the blaze.
