The tornado in Fannin County near Leonard has been rated EF-1 by the National Weather Service with 90 to 95 mph winds. They had trees uprooted, and pieces of metal were scattered everywhere, many wrapped around tree limbs. Several barns containing farm equipment were also heavily damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
