Federal Appeals Court Sides With Gov. Abbott On Ballot Drop Boxes

A federal appeals court reinstated Texas restrictions allowing only a single drop-box for mail-in ballots in each county in New Orleans. The ruling late Monday sided with Governor Greg Abbott. On Oct. 1, he ordered the shuttering of multiple drop boxes where somebody collected thousands of ballots in some of Texas’s largest counties.
