Federal Charges In North Texas Overdoses

Nine North Texas teenagers between 13 and 17 have overdosed from fentanyl pills tied to a drug house near a high school in Carrollton. Three of the teens died. The overdoses occurred between September 2022 and February 2 of this year. Authorities charged Luis Navarrete and Magaly Mejia Cano with conspiring to sell “M30” fentanyl pills to teenagers near R.L. Turner High School and Dewitt Perry Middle School.
