Federal COVID Unemployment Supplement Ends Saturday In Texas

Federal unemployment benefits tied to COVID-19 will end Saturday in the state of Texas. In May, Governor Abbott announced that Texas was opting out of federal unemployment compensation, including $300 weekly payments. It is expected to affect roughly 500,000 Texans.
