Federal Judge Blocks Lifting Title 42

A federal judge has temporarily blocked the White House’s effort to lift Title 42 at the end of May. Title 42 is a pandemic authority that denies illegal immigrants entry into the United States to stop diseases from spreading. The C-D-C says Title 42 is longer needed, and the White House says that its purpose was always to address public health – not immigration.
