Federal Wrongful Death Suit Against Hunt County Detention Center

The family filed a lawsuit in federal court against the Hunt County Detention Center connected with an inmate’s death. Gary Lynch III died in his cell in February of 2019. According to the lawsuit, witnesses said Lynch had complained of chest pains, but jail personnel ignored complaints, and they were allegedly aware of Lynch’s low blood pressure.
