Fire Destroys Home in Powderly

One firefighter was treated on the scene and then transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation while battling a fire that destroyed a mobile home on  CR 44150 in Powderly. Nobody was home when the fire broke out and there were no other injuries. The injured firefighter was identified as Daniel Grimes of Powderly. The cause of the fire has not been determined. Fire also destroyed a home southwest of Deport on Monday.
