Fire Kills Parents In Hughes Springs

Hughes Springs Fire Department worked a fire Sunday morning around 1:30. It was in the 600 block of Tower Street in Hughes Springs. The children, ages 10 and six, managed to escape but the fire killed the parents, Al Rushing, 40 and his wife Shanice, 29. The older sister got her sibling out alive after she heard her mother crying that her eyes were burning. (Photo – KLTV Channel 7)
