Wood County Fire Officials Investigating Two Fires

The Wood County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a house fire on Hwy 14 in Hawkins. Firefighters from Hawkins, Holly Lake, Red Springs and Hainesville all responded to the blaze. No one was injured in the fire. The Fire Marshal is also investigating a suspicious farm equipment fire in the Alba community that happened last week.
