Firefighter Dies After Battling Blaze In West Texas Mountains

A firefighter who was battling wildfires in west Texas has died after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency. Reportedly 42-year-old Weatherford firefighter Richard “Andy” Loller Jr. died aboard a medical helicopter on the way to a hospital in Odessa. He had been deployed to help fight wildfires in the Davis Mountains.
