Firefighters and TxDOT Workers Handle Gas Spill

Firefighters and TxDOT workers responded to the scene of a hazardous materials spill Tuesday morning at about 11am in the 6700 block of Lamar Avenue in Reno.  Officials say an 18 wheeler was on its way to Tennessee from Denton when something  struck its fuel tank, causing about 20 gallons of diesel  to spill on the roadway.  Hazmat crews cleaned up the spill and the road was back to normal by about 5pm and the spill was completely contained.
