Fireworks Notice From City Of Paris

“PUBLIC AWARENESS BULLETIN REGARDING PROHIBITION OF FIREWORKS”

By the City of Paris Ordinance 6.04.001, amended by Ordinance- 2020-052, and Fire Code 5601.1.3, it is illegal to possess, manufacture, store, sell, and use Fireworks within the City of Paris. Anyone found in possession of fireworks will be issued a citation with a maximum fine of $500.00 and fireworks confiscated. In addition, those who wish to report fireworks violators to the police department are encouraged to provide video evidence of the violators so that police can file charges after the fact.
