First Tropical Storm Of Hurricane Season

The National Weather Service issued the first tropical storm warning of this year’s hurricane season early Tuesday as coastal communities in South Texas prepare for heavy rain, flooding, and possible tornadoes. The Texas Division of Emergency Management is activating state emergency resources, including urban search and rescue, swift-water boats, high-profile vehicles, and helicopters.
