Week 11 gets underway Tonight. On Mix 107.7 the North Lamar Panthers will travel to Melissa to take on the Cardinals. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm. The Paris Wildcats have the week off as they prepared or the bi-district round of the playoffs next weekend. Cooper looks to finish district undefeated as they travel to Bells. Honey Grove will be at a Rivercrest. Whitewright will be at Prairiland. Clarksville travels to Mt Enterprise while Chisum hosts Blue Ridge. And Detroit visits Maud.
Mt Pleasant travels to Nacogdoches on KLAKE 97.7, New Boston is at Mt Vernon on STAR 96.9, Sulphur Springs is at North Forney on STAR 95.9, Daingerfield is at New Diana, Paul Pewitt is at Queen City, Pittsburg will host Spring Hill, Gilmer is at Liberty-Eylau, Honey Grove visits Rivercrest, and Hughes Springs is off.

Devin Shore scored two goals for the Dallas Stars as they defeated San Jose 4–3 at home. The Stars are currently sitting in third place in the division and fifth in the conference. Dallas will host Nashville on Saturday afternoon.
In Thursday night football the Pittsburgh Steelers pounded the Carolina Panthers 52-21 at Heinz Field. It tied the record for the most points scored against Carolina set on Christmas Eve of 2000 against the Raiders.
Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was cited Thursday morning after he allegedly drove over 100-mph on Pittsburgh streets, according to WPXI.WPXI reports that Brown, who was in a black Porsche, was charged with reckless driving after speeding past an officer. A Steelers spokesman said the team is aware of the situation and gathering information.
The Dame quarterback Ian Book will not play in Saturday’s game against Florida State due to a rib injury. Book is expected to be available for the No. 3 Fighting Irish’s game against No. 13 Syracuse on Nov. 17. Book suffered the rib injury in last Saturday’s 31-21 victory over Northwestern. He finished the game.
The Los Angeles Rams and their players are “heartbroken” over a mass shooting at a bar that killed 12 people Wednesday night in Thousand Oaks, California. The shooting took place just miles from the Rams’ practice facility at California Lutheran University and the team’s offices in Agoura Hills. Many of the team’s players and staff also reside in the area.”The Los Angeles Rams organization is heartbroken by the horrific shooting that took place last night in our community of Thousand Oaks,” said a statement issued by the team Thursday. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and our entire community.”
