Former Ada Officer Surrenders After Manhunt

Bond has been set in Pontotoc County at half a million dollars for a former Ada Police Officer who was the subject of a statewide manhunt. Reportedly Adam Vanlandingham, 27, surrendered to authorities at the courthouse. He was allegedly drunk when he crashed into a motorcycle, causing extremely serious injuries to motorcyclist Jerome Carter.
