Former Bonham Youth Pastor’s Child Sex Assault Appeal Denied

An appeals court denied a former Northeast Texas youth pastor’s motion to drop the child sex assault case against him. Lyle Huddlestun, who was a youth minister at Boyd Baptist Church in Bonham,  was indicted for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage boy at least 22 times. He has been tried two times, but both trials ended in mistrials. Huddlestun remains out on bond.
