Former Cumby Teacher Sentenced

A former 39 year old Cumby Math teacher has been convicted in federal court of producing child pornography, enticing and coercing children and transferring pornography. 39 year old Lucas Ray Hill was sentenced Friday to nearly 34 years in federal prison and must serve the entire 405 months. After he completes his sentence, he must serve 5 years probation. The case was investigated by Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputies, Sulphur Springs police department and federal authorities.
