Former Deputy Arrested In Atoka

A former deputy sheriff was arrested in Atoka for walking down the street carrying a rifle while allegedly high on narcotics. KXII-TV reports that 36-year-old Brandon Gerard was charged with public intoxication and carrying a firearm while under the influence. He reportedly told an officer that he was waiting to kill a person.
