Former East Texas Judge Sentenced

57 year old former Lone Oak Municipal Court Judge Lisa Marie Brown has been sentenced to one year in State Jail.  Brown had pleaded no-contest to Abuse of Official Capacity,  in connection with money missing from the court. She was accused of withholding between $1500 and $20,000 in deposits belonging to the city and diverting them for her personal use. .
