Former ESD Employee Indicted

A Smith County grand jury indicted a former Smith County Emergency Services District 2 employee for allegedly uploading child pornography with victims as young as two years old on Snapchat. Reportedly, 25-year-old Silas Franks had been under investigation since Tyler Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
