The former University of Memphis and University of Tennessee basketball star has been sentenced in Hopkins County District Court to prison after his probation on drug charges was revoked. Cornelius “Scooter” McFadgon, 35, who also played in the European Basketball League, had been arrested in 2014 for possession of 2.5 pounds of cocaine and 193 pounds of marijuana. He was sentenced to 20 years behind bars on both the marijuana and cocaine charges, to be served concurrently.
