Former JP Loses Death Row Appeal

Former Kaufman County Justice of the Peace Eric Williams

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the death penalty imposed on former Kaufman County Justice of the Peace Eric Williams. A court condemned him for the murder of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia on Easter weekend in 2013. The trial judge will select an execution date.
