Former Lamar County Juvenile Probation Officer Sentenced

A former Lamar County Juvenile Probation Officer has been sentenced to three years deferred adjudication probation after pleading guilty in District Court to felony theft. Bart Chandler, 47, of Paris, was also fined $750. He was accused of padding his mileage reimbursement claims by about $12,000. He has paid all of the money back.
