Former Officer Charged With Fatal Shooting Wants Bond Lowered

A former police officer accused of murder from Wolfe City will be in court Thursday. Collin County Jail is holding 22-year-old Shaun Lucas for security reasons. His bond is $1-million, an amount his attorney will try to get lowered Thursday to a more affordable amount. The state accuses Lucas of the October 2 shooting death of Jonathan Price. Price was trying to break up a fight when witnesses say Lucas drove up and first tried to use a taser and then opened fire.
