Former SE Oklahoma Teacher Faces Child Abuse Charges

A former student teacher at Durant Middle School will now stand trial in Choctaw Nation Tribal District Court. Court documents indicate that they charged the 24-year-old with first-degree rape, child sexual abuse, and soliciting a minor. The alleged victim is a 14-year-old girl from the middle school.
