Former Teacher Sentenced To Prison For Affair With 13 Year Old

A former Harris County teacher  has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for having an affair with her 13 year old student.  Alexandria Vera, who taught at Stovall Middle School got pregnant by her student during the relationship, which lasted 9 months.  Vera had an abortion after CPS became involved in the case.
