Franklin County Ban On Outdoor Burning

Franklin County Commissioners voted unanimously to enact a 90-day ban on outdoor burning effective immediately. They could rescind the burn ban based on a determination by the Forest Service or the court. The ban does not apply to burning related to health and safety as determined by the TCEQ, and outdoor grilling is still permitted.
