Franklin County Capital Murder Expected To Wrap-Up

The Capital Murder Trial in Franklin County of James Arthur Crawford III is expected to wrap up today. Following the last of the defense witnesses, closing arguments will be held and the case will be presented to the jury. If convicted of killing Kenneth Rex Raley of Mt.Vernon,  Crawford  will automatically be sentenced to Life in Prison without Parole. District Attorney Will Ramsay is prosecuting the case. Mac Cobb of Mt. Pleasant and Martin Braddy of Sulphur Springs were appointed to represent Crawford.
