Franklin County Man Convicted of Tampering With Evidence

After deliberating about 35 minutes, a Franklin County jury has convicted an East Texas man on 3 counts of Tampering with Physical Evidence. Investigators say 33 year old Daniel Arnold of Mt. Vernon had shaved his and his two sons’ heads so they couldn’t be tested for exposure to methamphetamine. Arnold was sentenced to 10 years in prison on each count. The sentences will be served concurrently.
