Grayson County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation into a man accused of fraud and horse theft now spans several states. At least eleven victims filed complaints about Landen James in one day, with 20 different victims. They alleged James may have sold multiple individuals the same horse or horses and collected payment for those animals, never delivering them. Captain Marty Hall said they are working with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association to investigate the crimes spanning at least three states.
