FTC Sues Amazon

The Federal Trade Commission has sued Amazon for allegedly tricking millions of consumers into enrolling in its Amazon Prime Subscription Service. The FTC filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. The lawsuit also alleges that Amazon tried to keep users subscribed who wished to cancel. Amazon called the FTC’s claims “false on the facts and the law.”
