Full Slate of High School Football Tomorrow Night Plus Tribe Eliminate Jays

Paris – We’re coming down the home stretch of the high school football season in the Red River Valley. The North Lamar Panthers look to get on the right path to the post season tomorrow night when they host Princeton at R. L. Maddox Stadium. The game can be heard live on MIX 107.7. The Paris Wildcats look to tighten their grip on the district lead when they host Quinlan Ford on 101.9 KBUS. And our KOYN Game of the Week will feature the Prairiland Patriots taking on the Whitewright Tigers. Kickoff Friday is at 7:30.

Mount Pleasant – Tomorrow night on KLAKE 97.7, the I-30 rivalry is rehashed as the Mt. Pleasant Tigers travel to Prim Stadium to take on the Sulphur Springs Wildcats. The Tigers at 1-3 and Sulphur Springs at 1-2 are both looking to jockey themselves back into the playoff conversation. Meanwhile, the Hughes Springs Mustangs are looking to do the same as they celebrate homecoming against the New Boston Lions for the Star Country Game of the Week on 96.9. Kickoff tomorrow night is at 7:30.

Sulphur Springs – Tomorrow night on Star Country 95.9, the I-30 rivalry is rehashed as the Sulphur Springs Wildcats welcome the Mt. Pleasant Tigers to Prim Stadium. The Tigers at 1-3 and Sulphur Springs at 1-2 are both looking to jockey themselves back into the playoff conversation. Meanwhile, the Mt. Vernon Tigers, at 3-1, look to stay in the race for a district title. They’ll take on Quitman at home. The Cooper Bulldogs are 2-1, they’ll host unbeaten Leonard at Bulldog Stadium and the Emory Rains Wildcats are 1-1. They’ll be on the road at Wills Point. Kick off Friday night is at 7:30.

Yesterday in the Major League Championship Series, the Cleveland Indians punch their ticket to the World Series after shutting out the Toronto Blue Jays 3-0. Cleveland wins the American League Championship four games to one. In the Nationals League the Cubs win over the Dodgers 10-2 to even the NLCS at two games apiece. Game five is tonight at 7pm.

Last night the Dallas Mavericks continue the pre-season with a 106-91 loss to the Houston rockets. The Mavs wrap up the pre-season tomorrow night at Denver. Their first game will be next week on Wednesday against the Pacers.

And tonight the Dallas Stars host the LA Kings at the American Airline Center. The Stars have four points on the young season and are currently tied for 2nd place in the Central Division Standings. Puck drop this evening between the Stars and Kings is set for 7:30.
