Garland Killer Executed

A North Texas man was executed Tuesday night for the 2012 murder of a convenience store employee during a robbery. A court had condemned 49-year-old Matthew Lee Johnson for pouring lighter fluid on 76-year-old Nancy Harris and setting her on fire at the store in Garland. Harris had four sons, 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
