With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, more Texans are driving, which has led to an increase in gas prices. AAA Texas reports prices have increased an average of six cents per gallon of regular unleaded. Analysts said the global oil industry is rebounding partially due to the Saudis and Russians working together to cut supply during the pandemic.
