Gas Prices Rise, Expected To Get Worse

Gas prices are on the rise nationwide, and Triple A-Texas warns prices will get worse as we near the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Statewide, it’s costing drivers an average $7.42 more to fill a tank than it did last year. The gas price hikes are tied to several issues, the decision to re-impose sanctions on Iran, a switch to more costly summer fuel, growing global demand and shrinking supply.
