Upshur County Deputies responded Monday morning to a home in Gilmer after workers hired for a roofing job found the body of 66-year-old Timothy Allen Caffey in the yard. They ruled the death a homicide. They found the victim’s son, 45-year-old Michael Timothy Caffey, in Gregg County and arrested him on a misdemeanor warrant. Now they have charged him with the murder of his father.
