Gladewater Police Chief Taking SE Texas Position

Gladewater Police Chief Robert Vine has announced his upcoming resignation to take over the Police Chief’s position with the Dayton Police Department in SE Texas. Vine will also serve as Deputy City Manager to oversee public safety. Vine is slated to assume his new duties January 7 but has promised to stick around in Gladewater to help with the transition.
