Because of financial considerations, the PJC Board of Regents has voted to eliminate the golf and volleyball athletic programs. College President Dr. Pam Anglin said revenue has declined over the last three years and will no longer support 8 sports. Eliminating the two sports will save the college about $350,000 annually.
