Governor Abbott Bans So Called “Vaccine Passports”

Governor Greg Abbott has banned state agencies and local governments from requiring COVID-19 “vaccine passports.” It’s a term used for documentation that shows the vaccination of an individual against the virus. Although Texas has vaccinated millions of residents, the shots are voluntary. Abbott said the government should not require any Texan to show proof of vaccination and reveal private health information to go about their daily lives.
