Grand Jury To Meet In Crossing Guard’s Death

A special grand jury will meet tomorrow in Hunt County to investigate the death of Greenville school crossing guard Christine Jewell Sandlin. She was struck by a vehicle near an elementary school in March and died in April of her injuries. Hunt County District Attorney Noble Walker was the driver of the vehicle. A visiting judge and special prosecutor have been appointed for the case.
