Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s office announced that Sheriff’s departments from all 77 counties across Oklahoma will receive grant funding. They appropriated $18 million for the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Office Funding Assistance Grant Program. The grants will range from $150,000 to $300,000, and the departments can use the money for operations such as training, technology, equipment, and capital improvements.
